Between 2016 - 2020 I was active with the Nordic Summer University (NSU), an independent, nomadic, democratic academic institution founded in 1950, which is committed to cross-disciplinary research and critical thinking.
Along with Noora-Helena Korpelainen and Emily Aiava, I co-edited a special edition of Popular Inquiry, the Journal of Kitsch, Camp and Mass Culture, which collected presentations given as part of the study circle Appearances of the Political (2016 - 2018). The circle was aimed at investigating the aesthetic appearances and the experiences of the political in contemporary democracies.
